The Simple Guide to Creating an Intuitive Wardrobe

Simple Guide to Buidling a Lifetime Wardrobe_Ilana Kohn Sheldon Dress.jpg

I use clothing as a way to understand myself and who I am. For me, editing my wardrobe has been a way to connect to my intuition and learn how to hear myself over all the noise in the world. All the “shoulds”, all the rules, all the dictated roles society tells us we must follow. No one knows you better than you - only you know who you truly are, and what you truly need. But in all the noise surrounding us, it’s easy to lose that.

“The Simple Guide to Creating an Intuitive Wardrobe” is a guide to help you find your way back to yourself. Through working through your closet you sift through all the masks and layers you wear to fit society’s expectations of you. It helps you figure out who you are underneath all that “stuff”. It sets you up to carry that over into your everyday life, whatever that looks like for you.

Of course, if you’re just looking for a way to declutter your closet & make getting dressed easier, it does that too! It’s also a helpful guide for those who want to invest in ethical clothing, switch over to pieces that will last more than two wears, are tired of having to buy a new wardrobe every season, or have a closet full of clothing but nothing to wear. Whatever your reason, this book is full of tips, lists, and prompts to help you plan out your wardrobe, reduce clutter, and hone in on your personal style.

The book is set up to be something you work through, add to, and carry around with you. We cover topics like what a lifetime wardrobe is, how to figure out what your closet goals are, how to edit your wardrobe and organize it afterwards, how to find pieces to fill in the gaps, and where to go for ethical/sustainable clothing. There are also questionnaires, detailed step-by-step guides, writing prompts and space to jot down your lists and thoughts. By going through this process with your closet, you begin to be able to apply it to other parts of life as well.

This book is life changing my friends. When you sign up for our newsletter (at the bottom of this page) you get a free copy of one of the chapters... seriously.
