moonlit musings XI
When I'm searching for inspiration, I wander. Down highways & back roads, through city streets & forest paths. Whether it's the sense of movement that gets me in the flow, or I shift my perspective by changing my surroundings, some of my most profound a-ha moments have come to me while roaming freely. I've hatched some of my best-laid plans while winding through the mountains, found solutions to problems in the sunset, & had sweet little nudges of "what-if" whispered by the wind. As I soak in the colours of sunshine and yellow dandelions, the flickers of shadows through the leaves, the giant mountains, rolling hills and vast blue skies, I dream of the collections waiting to be dyed & crafted.
And I remember: I'm a small part of this magical, magnificent universe, something so awe-inspiring my mind cannot possibly fathom its mysteries, and anything is possible. I connect to the world around me & make my way home, back to myself.
On this last full moon before Summer Solstice, the energy is very Empress-like. Lush, abundant, grounded, ripe with potential & life ready to flourish. What are you manifesting and creating? What's ready to bloom & harvest, what needs to be cleared out to make space for something new? What are you celebrating? What's bringing light to your life, filling your days & heart? How are you nurturing yourself, your loved ones, this life you're living?
