On my mind this Full Moon:
Following the flow (even when I don’t know how it’ll turn out). Wondering what’ll happen next, in a curious, not fearful way.
Listening to Jamie Sea & OPEN meditations while sewing (so your garments are infused with some seriously magical energy).
How much fun it is to craft with lace & see how the patterns come together to make something new.
How tf I’m going to run a workshop outside. It’ll happen. It’ll be great. But I’m seriously praying the weather will be in my favour.
How different it feels getting ready for these Folk Fests. More play, less pressure.
How becoming a mother has given me a new sense of purpose. That everything I do is for her, including taking care of myself & my dreams—because she’ll learn that from me too.
The thrifting gods were in my favour today & I’m stoked to dive into dyeing them.
What I’ll create with all the fabric I found this weekend (seriously, the thrifting has been goooooood).
Working on my nervous system has been life-changing. Not that everything around me has changed, but how I feel about & respond to it is starting to. Take, for instance, water leaking into our basement during these ridiculous rainstorms; it would’ve made me anxious and overwhelmed before. Now, I can acknowledge that while it absolutely fucking sucks, we’ll figure it out.
Need to book: osteo, massage, acupuncture, somatic yoga.
How much more fun it is to show up honestly & without editing rather than trying to be perfect & say the right thing. What a breath of fresh air. So much easier. Life’s too short to waste it trying to be someone I’m not.
Craving a salad with prosciutto, arugula, feta, avocado, cucumbers & nectarines. With a side of French butter & fresh sourdough. Food is truly a love language.
Celebrating 5 years of marriage & 36 years on this earth this month. Holy fuck what a beautifully full month.
