A Gentle Practice for Easing into the New Year
I don’t know about you, but I’ve felt like I’ve needed these last few weeks to recover. Last year was one of the hardest of my life, and I needed a moment to pause & breathe. I’ll still be taking a few weeks to rest & reset.
That isn’t to say I’m not working—the behind-the-scenes work is foundational. Setting intentions, planning, and creating a guideline for the year is essential to moving forward with purpose.
Here’s what I’m thinking:
Setting an intention for the year ahead {I like to pick one or two words as my anchors}
Writing out a dream list goals I’d love to move towards, then breaking them down into seasonal plans.
A tarot pull, one for each area of life that matters to me, and one for each month of the year ahead.
Softly, slowly, reorganizing my wardrobe and home to align with how I’m feeling & what I’ll need next
Creating a flexible schedule that incorporates work, rest & play.
What are you feeling called to this first New Moon of the new year?
